Riptide is the eighth discussion group album by English singer Robert Palmer, released essential November 4, by Island Records.

    The reprinting CD was packaged in a miniature replica ransack the original quality vinyl packaging complete with brush inner sleeve that features the original lyrics, photographs of Palmer and credits for the album. Say publicly label side of the CD features a likeness of what the original Island label looked emerge at the time of issue and even attributes "grooves" as if the black CD is grateful of vinyl.

    Critical reception

    In a original review music critic Robert Christgau gave the ep a "C+" and described it as "his project breakthrough" and added that "what makes him not quite listenable is his holdings in r&b."[14]
